Mar. 30 – Apr. 10: Easter & Passover, Young Voices #tpl @torontolibrary

Are you a creative writer?  If you submitted your work for Earl Haig SS’ Pierre Berton Writing Contest (award ceremony on April 23rd after school in the library), then you should definitely submit to the Toronto Public Library’s anthology, Young Voices.  Find out more about submission guidelines here.  Deadline is Tues. April 7th.

On Thurs. April 9th, Periods 1, 2, and 3, the library will be hosting its 4th TEDx event.  Sign up in the library by next Tuesday to attend.

Learn more about the history of Easter & Passover as well as the culinary traditions from the GALE Virtual Reference book, The Encyclopedia of Food and Culture (see right panel:  list of databases and agenda p22 for passwords).

Please remember to sign out your computers with photo ID during lunch. The library is reserved for quiet work when a lesson is being taught.
